Terms and Conditions for The Hazlitt Apartments 

1.General Information

These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by The Hazlitt Apartments Ltd, located at 27 Causeyside Street. By making reservations or staying at the Aparthotel, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. 

2. Definitions

• Aparthotel: Refers to The Hazlitt Apartments Ltd. 
• Guest: Refers to the individual or individuals who have reservations and/ or are staying at The Aparthotel. 
• Reservation: Refers to the booking made by the Guest for the accommodation at The Aparthotel. 
• Deposit: The initial payment made by the Guest to secure the reservation, which is a percentage of the total booking amount. 
• No-Show: Refers to when the Guest does not arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior cancellation. 
• Quiet Hours: Refers to designated hours in which Guests are expected to keep noise levels to a minimum to avoid disturbing other Guests. 
  
  

3. Reservations 

3.1 Booking

• Reservations can we made through our website, via email or by phone.
• A valid credit or debit card is required to secure a reservation. 
• The Aparthotel reserves the right to pre-authorise said card before arrival.
  
  

3.2 Rates 

• Rates are subject to change without prior notice. 
• Rates quoted are per room, per night and include VAT, unless otherwise specified.
  
  

3.3 Deposit 

• A deposit of 10% of the total booking amount is required upon booking. 
• The deposit is non-refundable. 
  
  

3.4 Payment

• Full payment is required 90 days before the check-in date. 
• Acceptable methods of payment include credit card, debit card and cash.
  
  

4. Cancellation and No-Show Policy 

4.1 Cancellation 

• Cancellations must be made 90 days before arrival. 
• Cancellations made 90 days or less before check-in are non-refundable. 
  
  

4.2 No-Show

• In case of no-show, the guest will be charged for full amount of the reservation. 

5. Check-In & Check-Out

5.1 Check-In

• Check-in is from 3 pm. 
• Early check-in is subject to availability and may incur an additional charge. 

5.2 Check-Out

• Check-out is by 11 am. 
• Late check-out is subject to availability and will incur an additional charge. 

6. House Rules

6.1 Quiet Hours

• Quiet Hours are from 10 pm to 6 am. 
• Guests are requested to respect the peace and quiet of other guests. 
  
  

6.2 Smoking

• Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of the Aparthotel. 
• A cleaning fee will be charged for any violation of this policy. 
  
  

6.3 Pets

• Pets are allowed in certain rooms with an additional charge. 
• Pets must be registered at the time of booking. 
• Pets must not be left alone in the apartment at any time. 
• The Aparthotel reserved the right to charge for any damages or disturbances caused by pets. 
  
  

6.4 Conduct

• Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and non-disruptive manner. 
• The Aparthotel reserves the right to refuse the service or terminate the stay of any Guest who fails to comply with these terms.
   

7. Liability

7.1 Personal Belongings 

• The Aparthotel is not responsible for loss, theft or damage of personal belongings. 
• Guests are encouraged to have the appropriate travel insurance. 
  
  

7.2 Damages 

• Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the Aparthotel during their stay. 
• The Aparthotel reserves the right to charge the Guest’s card for any damages incurred. 
  
  

8. Privacy Policy  

• The Aparthotel respects the privacy of its Guests and is committed to protecting personal information. 
• All personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of managing reservation.
   

9. Governing Law

• These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland.
  
  

10. Amendments 

• The Aparthotel reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. 
• It is the responsibility of the Guest to review these Terms and Conditions regularly.
